View Full Version : Time of day of the Warning

Why am I saying that the Warning will occur at about 8:51 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (east coast time in the U.S.)?

Jesus died about the ninth hour.

The 'the ninth hour' is halfway between solar noon, when the sun is at its highest point in the sky, and sunset. Jesus died, according to my chronology, on April 7th, A.D 19 (although the year does not matter to this particular calculation). On that day the ninth hour was equivalent to between 2:50 and 2:51 p.m. Jerusalem Standard Time, (at least as well as we can determine today).

The Warning occurs on Good Friday because Jesus died for our sins, and the Warning calls us to repent from our sins. All graces are from the Cross, including the graces of the Warning. So it makes sense that the Warning will occur at the time of the death of Jesus.

Thank you Ron. So some people will be awake and others will be asleep, that depending on the time zoning of the world.

Whether people are asleep or awake, this will be a call to wake up spiritually.

Yes indeed garabandalg, but some people especially in the far-east will have greater merits for waking up from the middle of the night:)

Perhaps the obamacare bill will have something to do with things getting even worse....
