View Full Version : Prohibition on Garabandal

I have just looked at a few sites saying there are new prohibitions being imposed on Garabandal. Take a look:
http://whatisgarabandal.blogspot.com/
https://whatisgarabandal.wordpress.com/2015/11/09/new-restrictions/
Prohibition of any Mass at the Pines or at the St Michael Chapel
Prohibition to talk about the Appartions of our Lady of Mount Carmel in the village of Garabandal
Prohibition to any Priests to come in Garabandal as a representative of the Church except privately
Prohibition in the village of Garabandal of any religious manifestation in connection with the Apparitions.
The New Bishop Msgr Monge refused also to bless the new center of the Apparitions, opened recently as he imposed a strict control on its website.

The visionaries of Garabandal predicted a falling away
of belief in the apparitions, prior to the Warning.
So I expect a formal disapproval of Garabandal within the
next few months.

If the Church officially disapproves of Garabandal and yet the Warning and subsequent Miracle end up happening, it'll likely sow a lot of confusion among the faithful. Many are unlikely to ever again trust the Church's opinion on matters of private revelation. The Church will need our prayers more than ever.

Well, St Faustina's Divine Mercy was condemned by several Pope's. Not sure if that falls in line with a formal disapproval here, or how it plays when the Church condemns what should be approved and approves what should be condemned. I suppose a lot of souls hang in the balance.

Decisions on discipline and judgments in particular cases are fallible.
