Default All European Life Died In Auschwitz

This post taken from one of the many blogs says something interesting. Not focusing on the intrinsic evil and tragedy of the Holocaust, but reflecting on one consequence of it:

All European Life Died In Auschwitz by Sebastian Vilar Rodriguez

Unhappy

That one really hits hard.....right in the gut. Never, ever would've seen it quite that way, so I guess I'm thankful for the post but also quite sad.

I would never have seen the Holocaust in that light, either. Wow. Thanks for posting this, Joan.

Default Jews

Many of the European Jews were commuinist or secular atheists. They were not friends of many Christians. Leftist, socialist they spread Marx from France to Trotsky in Russia. Auschwitz was horrible and sub-human, but european Jewry killed millions of Ukranians, Poles, Russians, via Bolshevikism, so dont sugar coat all of the Jews.

Default Terrible Post

This post is a travesty of Christianity. I am sure you don't truelly understand what you have posted, so let me explain. This is Israeli propoganda, designed to spread hate of Islam and Arab people. It's content is entirely prejudiced and untrue.

Look at this:

we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

Hmm. Really terrible and untrue. What is worse however is in the heart of the person that wrote it.

God help the Jews, who seem to be actually want to repeat their history. Lets all pray that the Jews do not precipitate a nuclear WW3.

Default Re-Evaluation

Allenpars,
I have removed the article, first because it is old and most have read it; and second, because if I were a peace-loving, devout Muslim living in Europe--and read the particular statement you call attention to--then it would certainly strike me as being unjust and hurtful.

I don't know if it was Israeli propaganda--it may well have been an opinion piece, and such items do tend to be strongly worded and leaning to a strong point of view. I have left the item's title and author.

Finally, I do not think the Jews wish any such horror as you describe, upon the world or themselves.

At the time I ran across that essay, word was beginning to reach us about many, many acts of violence against innocent people, and increasing suppression taking place in Europe by immigrant populations. Now, there are parts of Paris that even the police cannot enter into; in Norway violence against women has drastically increased, perpetrated by the unassimilated immigrant population; many acts of intimidation are taking place everywhere. At the same time, denial of the Holocaust is on the rise. All of these trouble me greatly.

However, I don't wish to generalize about a whole people, such as the Muslims, or the Jews. Perhaps such essays at this point in time can only add further useless anger to conversations on this topic. Much of what I read and hear about is so sad and frightening. Whatever the prevailing realities in Europe, time will tell the outcome and only the mercy and intervention of God can bring an end to such miseries.
