Default The Soul of the Apostolate

I have had the book The Soul of the Apostolate by Jean-Baptiste Chautard for 25 years, but only recently read it after being recommended by a friend. Truely, the most beneficial book I have read on the Interior Life of the soul. You can get a copy for only $10 on amazon.com.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has read it and how it may have affected your prayer life and your interior life with Christ.

I read the book several years ago. It's very good. The main thing that has stayed with me in the years since I read it, is to avoid any type of work for the church without praying first. Also, to never allow doing things, no matter how good, to become more important than my spiritual life.

It appears that the copyright is expired, and if I have the book listed correctly, appears to be available on Google Books.

Arax,
Interesting point you raise, because it is very difficult with today's pace of life to discern and keep our lives in proper perspective. It is certainly a cross in itself to prioritize the time to keep our lives in proper order.
