Default behavior placement

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...279549318.html
NBC requires writers and producers to deliberately place certain behaviors into each show, behaviors that NBC has decided it wants to encourage in viewers. This might seem inocuous when the behavior is exercising, eating right, or recycling. But the same approach could be applied to any behavior. It is alarming that an entertainment company has given itself the role of deciding which behaviors to encourage or discourage.

Alarming indeed! I think all of the mainstream networks are deliberately engaged in this. To me, Disney Channel is one of the more active and insidious with their wizard and witch themed children's programming.
