Default Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is nothing other than
final impenitence
which is refusing, up to and including the last moment of one's life,
to repent from actual mortal sin.

other explanations claim that one can cut one's self off from the mercy and grace of God (a kind of reverse Pelagianism, in which one pulls one's self down by one's own bootstraps); those explanations are contrary to the omnipotence and mercy of God.

Wink Sins Against the Holy Spirit

1. Despair of salvation: No longer hoping in the salvation of your soul (Judas)

2. Presumption of saving yourself without merit: Expecting to be saved without deserving to be (Calvin) You say you have faith?

3. Contestation of a known truth: Denying the truth, saying something is not true when you know it is (The Pharisees)

4. Envy of the grace of others: Being envious of good Christians or holy people who live in the grace of God (Cain)

5. Persistency in sinning: Continuing to sin; persevering in sin without trying to correct yourself (Nero)

6. Final refusal to repent: Dying without repentance of sins that we have committed; those who do
not wish to repent demonstrate unwillingness, they refuse the forgiveness of God. (the athiest) "I don't
believe in sin. Nor do I have to be saved by anyone."

In the final analysis: presumptuousness and impenitence
