Default Who is our Captain on this boat amid this stormy sea??

We must keep on hand on Christ even as our other hand slips to hopefulness bordering on desperation for someone who will lead this Church in the right direction.

It is possible to be so desperate for effective leadership that one releases one's grip on the only Truth in the situation, which is Christ.

Hopefully, we will not let that happen.

We can be optimistic, hopeful, and yet not delusional, naive, or diluted. I believe that Fulton Sheen once said that following the stream does not take courage or conviction, for even dead bodies do that. We need leaders willing to swim against the current, and we should likewise be so willing. I guess it was more important not to offend Biden or Pelosi or "look bad" or "appear intolerant or judgmental " than to offend Our Lord in this situation......

Cardinal Sean is one of the eight Cardinals who are advising the Pope in this Extraordinary Synod.

Good to follow up...and he has more pictures.
