Default Texas fires

I'm still praying for Sammy and his family, and everyone affected by the fires in Texas. The Bastrop county area was very badly afflicted:

http://www.suite101.com/news/texas-w...county-a387736

Over 1300 homes were lost (so far), and many residents had to flee the area.

we should keep everyone affected by the fires in our prayers.

I thank you for your prayers. Bastrop has 10,000 residents. There are another 40,000 persons within a 5 to 10 mile radius of Bastrop. 1554 homes were burned outside of old town Bastrop which was unaffected. Very many friends were affected by the burn. In my parish alone, about 50 families lost their homes. The fire is 70% contained as of this morning. Sammy.
