I was thinking about this last night and realized that it is all planned perfectly.

The Warning (Day of repentence) will be announced on Tuesday at some point (3 days in advance). Weds. night is confession in every church, just after it makes it on the news that the first secret of Medjugorje has been announced. It is the perfect opportunity to repent.

Yes, this is correct.

I didn't know the Warning would be announced ahead of time.

Ron,
Please explain what you mean by 'sorrowful in despair.' Please explain also your last sentance:

but only if your sorrow and repentance is of grace, and not of despair.

Also, what do you mean by this: remember to be sorrowful in humility and with confidence in God's mercy, and not sorrowful in despair.

When Judas returned the money and went and hanged himself, his sorrow was of dispair. When the sorrow is of dispair, you are rejecting the forgiveness and mercy that comes from Christ.

To have sorrow and repentance in grace, is to realize that your sins, while great, can be forgiven. Because of this you are humble and grateful that God is merciful.

Dan A is correct about sorrow.

I believe that the Warning of Garabandal is the same as the first secret of Medjugorje, so the announcement is from the visionaries of Medjugorje. The visionaries of Garabandal have not said they would announce the Warning. But Conchita will announce the Miracle 8 days in advance.

Default Media coverage?

Does anyone think that the public revelation of the first secret will even appear in the media as a serious news item, or will most people just think it's another crazy person talking nonsense? And if it does make major headlines...I wonder who will listen. God Bless all here.

I think it will make headlines, maybe mockingly so. I also think that any faithful Catholics will take the opportunity to go to confession that night (Weds.) too.

Default How to make a good confession by Fr. Sudac:

"Be short and clear" (in other words, go to the point - for Confession is not for seeking spiritual conversation - that is different).

Going to the point will be very important especially after the Warning when many people will want to confess and many long lines will be expected.

Be honest. Do not blame your sins on other people; do not be like Adam, if you did it, you did it. Just say what you did, period. You go to confess your sins, not some one else's sins. And very vital, be repentant.

Check out these videos, very important! before going to Confession:

Also, when going to Confession, don't go and pretend to say how great you are but you sinned because some one else made you; because in reality we are all nothing. Don't be arrogant. Be humble.

Peace.
