Default true story

this is a true story, told to me by the priest to whom it happened, whose name has not been changed.

Fr. Ho was a visiting priest, staying at a residence for priests on a Catholic college campus in New England. A friend of his stopped by, to see if he was interested in going to see a particular musical in the city. He was not in, so she left a message with the elderly Irish woman who acted as receptionist for the residence. The message asked if Fr. Ho would like to go to see 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' with her.

When Fr. Ho returned to the residence some time later, the receptionist dutifully gave him the message. Then she said: "Father, why do you have to go all the way to Texas?"

Smile lol....

must have been this elderly, slightly deaf nun, Ron...who while teaching her young wards asked what they wanted to be when they grew up.

A little girl raised her hand:

Yes Mary, what do you want to be?

I want to be a Prostitute when I grow up!

The nun, red-faced, very sternly said: Mary! I will see you after class!

Class adjourned and the nun said: Mary, what did you say you wanted to be?

Mary replied: I said I want to be a prostitute when I grow up.

The nun gave a great sigh of relief and replied: "Oh, I thought you said you wanted to be a Protestant!"

I'd like to point out that that joke was meant for mellowed Catholics above 50 who generally adopt a jaded attitude towards sensuality .... (well, if you've found your spouse attractive enough and married early ...... my apologies to everyone else!)......

much like nuns of that age who sublimate such things to the point they forget what it even was!

I revere our Virgin Mother, and would never, ever malign her.

Little Mary in the joke was probably mislead by the antecedents of Mary Magdelene..or something!..anyway, its a common enough name among even secular people!
