The teaching series is not about the Warning or the future; those questions can be discussed in other forums of the discussion group. The teaching series addresses the need that we all have to learn the faith better and better. True, it is particularly useful as a preparation for the Warning and for the difficult times ahead to know the faith well. But it would be useful at any time in history.

I see your point about the Warning. I've wondered myself how much time and effort I should put into personal spiritual preparations. There's no way to prepare so thoroughly that one will be immune to the Warning. But if you wish to prepare, rid your life of as many sins as you can, and spend some modest amount of time considering past sins (but don't be weighed down by this task). Those who are better prepared will reach to a certain gift within the Warning only given to a few, which I'll explain once the articles are revealed.

I think that knowing the teaching of the Church better will be of immense value during the coming difficult times. But prepare as you see fit.

I most graciously accept your offer to lead and teach us through these times. I truly expected you to raise the bar and I'm thankful for it.

Glad you're a member of the class! If this makes you feel like hitting me over the head with a 2-by-4, by all means...but, when I first saw your name it brought the movie, Deep Impact, to mind!
