Default Is Jesus equally present in Tabernacle or exposed

I feel that Jesus is as much present when out of sight in the Tabernacle as He is during Exposition on the Altar.

It surprises me that even good faithful church-goers feel free to start chatting after He is reposed in the Tabernacle but would not consider doing so whilst He is Exposed on the Altar.

Do they think that a metal door and curtain restrains Him from being present throughout His Father's House.

This is just my feeling. I do not know if the Church teaches this. What do others feel?

What does the Church actually teach about it?

God bless
