Default Kreeft on Christ's Divinity

After posting an article on lying, filled with errors on moral doctrine, Dr. Keeft has posts an insightful article on the Divinity of Christ:

Here's my post refuting the errors in Kreeft's discussion of lying:

It often happens in theology that a theologian will have some good insights on one topic, and some substantial errors on another topic. Beggers can't be choosers. The faithful today have so few theologians who are reliable on a wide range of subjects, it is necessary to take whatever good theology we can find, wherever we can find it.

God is no respector of persons. He shows no favoritism. So if one assertion is true, and another assertion is false, God expects us to adhere to the truth and reject or ignore the falsehood, regardless of which author said each.

Moreover, there are many O.T. prophecies regarding our Lord. Prophet Isaiah described His Passion in detail many years before it happened.

{53:5} But he himself was wounded because of our iniquities. He was bruised because of our wickedness. The discipline of our peace was upon him. And by his wounds, we are healed.
{53:6} We have all gone astray like sheep; each one has turned aside to his own way. And the Lord has placed all our iniquity upon him.
{53:7} He was offered up, because it was his own will. And he did not open his mouth. He will be led like a sheep to the slaughter. And he will be mute like a lamb before his shearer. For he will not open his mouth.

Jesus did not say that He was innocent or defended Himself from the lies against Him for He wanted to redeem us all.

I think this the point Dr. Keeft wants us to get is (According to my personal thouths):

A person can not say that Jesus is not God but that He was only a "good man" because:

The person prophesized in detail by Isaiah, Jesus, said He is God. He did not defended Himself from crucifixion in order to redeem us all.

If He was not God but a mere man, then that would make Jesus an insane person in order to allow Himself to be tortured like that, so He is not "good", He is "insane".

If He is not God, nor an insane person, then that would make Jesus a liar, so He can not be "good" here either. Also, how can a sane, intelligent but liar person allow Himself to be crucified the way He was when He had very well the chances to defend Himself?....

So, the point we are getting up to this point is that Jesus was either God or an insane-liar person - period. He was God or not. He can not possibly be any other thing in the middle.

Now, reading the whole Bible, would God prophesy in a good lovingly manner about an insane person? or let an insane person be the redeemer of you and me? ... the answer is No because the sacrifices offered to God had to be without blemish, the lambs had to be "good" and an insane person or a liar can not be "good" to redeem the world.

Therefore, a totally sane Person, Jesus, was chosen by the Father in order to redeem us all and that person "without blemish" (signify that He is not a liar nor an insane person) said that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, that He is God.

If a person is sincerely looking for the Truth, reads the Bible and establishes a relationship with the Lord, will find out that the words Jesus taught are full of wisdom and everything that is said about Jesus is the Truth and will no longer be an outside audience, but a witness of this Truth.
