Default God is first, period.

We cannot replace prolonged excruciating pain with relatively quick excruciating pain while we play God by destroying life which is and should always remain His domain to decide. In the end, it is all about our own comfort which can never trump God's authority.

Saints have suffered agony BEYOND our comprehension!
Pain & suffering is at the center of our human existence as Catholics.
Sometimes we are preoccupied with taking away the pain.
Actually pain & suffering is a blessing!

I just thought I'd bring everyone here to a place that is so hard for us to comprehend in this selfish world of ours.

How many of us truly desire pain & suffering as the saints did?
They were pleased and thrilled to ask for pain and wanted more.

Sometimes I feel that when we take away pain and suffering from others who arent asking us too, I feel we might be giving up their chances to convert sinners, free people from purgatory, and give themselfves graces.

I point to Jacinta & Francisco!

Pain & suffering is sometimes sent from God.

Blessings upon you Brother,

We should act with the heart and mind of Christ, not the
world's.

Would Jesus Christ have killed a paralitic? or the blind or the
lame?

Actually the gist of what I was implying is that we SHOULD ACT !....but I stand corrected by Ron's input, that even this new technological development is wrong in the light of church dogma!

Jesus took affirmative action with the means at HIS hand and alleviated the pain and suffering!
