Default Apologetics

Recently I have been extremely surrounded by non-Catholic Christians of all different types. I have learned the benefit of knowing my faith to more of the basics. I have taken most teachings by faith, and have recently been challenged quite a bit. This forced me to double-up my efforts and determine exactly what I believe and why.

I think that after the Warning, this will be much more common place as people will be actively searching for the truth and questioning Catholicism in search for answers.

Can we prepare on this site and discuss these topics? So far it appears the focus of your education is for active Catholics to better understand what they believe. What I propose is to discuss what other religions believe and why it is not the truth. I have been reading all sorts of different apologetics websites to help, but thought that this group would greatly benefit from being prepared.

Some topics I see issues with are: predestination, books of the bible (what books belong), and Mary (already discussed a bit). Many of these topics help with not just referring to the Bible, but also referring to what the early church believed.

If this is not a topic of interest, I understand, but at worst I think it would help to develop some information sheets to refute some common misunderstandings. Catholic Planet may be the first stop for a lot of people and finding answers right away will help greatly.

2cor 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, most beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God.

I've added a section for Apologetics.
