True peace is the tranquility of order. We will not have peace until we personally and and socially recognize, accept and live out God's plan and order he established for the Church and the world.

I am convinced after much thought and observation that the reversal, equaling out, or even the watering down of roles between men and women is causing so much harm it is really unfathomable. And who suffers the most from this harm caused by this severe disorder? The weak and vulnerable, namely, our young people. The roles need to be in order for the young to develop into mature, whole and integrated loving persons who are available. Instead it is taking too long for the young to mature and some are growing up with so many problems we really need God to help us. Maybe this is a simplification, but I think this is big part of this problem with the young other than the other evil influences we know and talk about.

Quote:
Why did Satan tempt Eve?

Because man is far more vulnerable with influence from woman, especially with woman whom he loved whether this influence is good or bad...

Example:
1. Abraham cast out Hagar by the "command" of Sara...
2. Solomon felt by cumulative bad influences from thousands of woman around him...
3. David tempted by "the flesh" of his general's wife...
4. Jesus agree with Mary (Cana wedding), and has very close unique relationship with Her, that's why we pray through the intercession of Mary, but this is not a bad one, this is very holy, unique, and I can't explain it well...
5. Kings usually betrayed by woman...

The logic behind it: imagine you're a Kungfu master with unbeatable physical skills and technique, but what happen if the attack is from inside, from your rib (broken rib maybe...) or TBC I dunno...

Since woman is created from man's rib, Satan know the most effective and most efficient type of attack/temptation is the attack/temptation from inside....

Satan very clever huh...

and that's why we prayed what God, Jesus had taught us to pray, the most primary prayer in Christianity...

(just an excerpt...)

And according to Ven. Mary of Agreda's "Mystical City of God":

Quote:
He first approached the woman, and not the man, because he knew her [woman] to be by nature more frail and weak, ....
http://www.sacredheart.com/The_Mysti...Chapter_04.htm

So, with these two positions: "woman to be by nature more frail and weak than man; however, man to be more frail with woman", one may consider that it was a 'tactic' or 'strategy' from Satan.

Good points, Brother and Excelcius.

It is speculative as to why Eve was approached, rather than Adam.
The end result was that both fell from grace, and therefore both men and women are sinners in a fallen state.

strong points. Creation and its order is in one sense so frail, yet in another sense so powerful and beautiful when in accord with God and His plan.

Realizing that we can be tempted by the devil, can the devil read our thoughts or minds like the good angles or does he know us only by our actions?

Fallen angels are sometimes permitted to know the thoughts presently on the minds of human persons. This is clear from the many false private revelations in which the visionary communicates mentally with the fallen angel who is presenting the claimed revelation and its messages.

I am more referring to a person in the state of grace that is not itentionally communicating with the evil spirits. Can the devil know ones thoughts on a ordinary level, like the good angels can through prayer?

I think it is possible, to a limited extent.

The next question I would like to understand is whether Satan, being just one person, can he be in more place then one or does he have to use his other fallen angels to do his dirty work? Also, is there any thought to fallen humans having power or influence over earthly souls or is that reserved for the fallen angels only?
