![]() Bishop Dom Adriano Ciocca Vasino will do so only if Pope Francis permits it. He is participating at the Vatican’s Amazon Synod. Of course, if any other subsequent Pope permits it, Bishops can do it as well.

![]() My opinion is that the Church does possess the authority to ordain women deacons, but this is just an opinion on an open question.
