Default Arizona's success against abortion

This law has been effective

at forcing several major Planned Parenthood locations out of the abortion business.

Other States can and should follow Arizona's lead.

Ron,

I only just saw the video of the arrest of Fr. Norman Weslin in '09. What a trooper for the catholic faith!!!

are there any updates on how his arrest caused reactions in catholics circles there subsequently...if there were any!??..was he able to rouse the bishops?

I don't agree with Fr. Norman Weslin's approach of breaking the law and getting himself arrested repeatedly. I think that prayer and self-denial and living a holy life is what will change hearts and minds so that abortion will be rejected by the world.

Default abortion will itself one day be aborted..with all its rationalizations

The despicable evil of abortion will ultimately lose, and we should pray that as many people as possible get off this spiritual Titanic before it is too late. Satan will lose, and that allows us to defy his cunning ways....

...huh?..."breaking the law"?????...he was carrying a cross and protesting abortion !!!!! ....championing a catholic cause against the President of the United States...!!!!!...hero in my eyes anytime!

Then would you agree that someone like Obama should be allowed to into catholic institutions where young minds could be swayed by his justification of laws promoting abortion?

We always have to consider the consequences of our actions. He acted such that he knew he would be repeatedly arrested, and would repeatedly serve time in prison. This did not help the pro-life cause, and it takes him away from his ministry as a priest.

No, pro-abortion politicians should not be allowed to speak at Catholic institutions, nor be allowed to receive Communion.

feyfifer,

I don't know what is causing the above error message. Try using the Quote button or the Post Reply button instead of the Quick Reply button.
