No. The sufferings of Purgatory are constructive; it is a healing pain. The source of the torments is the sins of the individual, and the knowledge from God about those sins from the particular judgment. The sufferings of purgatory are just.

The fallen angels cannot dispense justice. They are evil, and so they cannot participate in the just punishments of the holy souls in Purgatory.

Wisdom 17 is about the plague of darkness that fell on the Egyptians through Moses and Aaron, and it is about the Three Days of Darkness.
