believe me I know. I'm married to one. I also have relatives in Pioppo. I understand there is great devotion to Padre Pio in Sicily. Do you know whether that is true or if it is only inflated reporting? Also, is devotion to Santa Rosalia still strong? I was there many years ago and I was amazed by it. Peace. |

Devotion to Padre Pio is generally strong in Sicily, for example amongst my relatives my grandmother is a devotee of him. Saint Rosalia is patroness of Palermo, the capital city of Sicily, so I suppose devotion to her is stronger in Sicily than in other parts of Italy.
