I'm sure both Frs Petar and Zlatko realize that great sufferings for humanity are on our doorstep. It is indeed a time to prepare and pray.

Suffering is not pleasant, but humanity deserve it. It teaches a lesson, and in the end there will be no question who the King of the Earth is and that there is a God in Israel (the Church) who is Terrible and Wonderful and everything Good.

Here is an interesting article / interview of Fr. Petar and his role in revealing the secrets.

I will first tell my closest and intimate friends. They would be ready and pray. And, of course, through the internet, television, and radio now-a-days and satellite. I believe that that would be the easiest duty. For me, it is most important that people would be ready. This is the desire of Our Lady and of Her Divine Son...

Default God uses these as tools

God will use the same technology that can lead souls away from Him to draw them close to Him, proving that it is more our individual persistance, dedication, and commitment to Him than these things which determine our salvation.

Does anybody think that the announcement will be picked up by any form of mainstream international media?

My guess is the secrets will be broadcasted by the Catholic media/circles. If there is nothing else going on in mainstream media, maybe it will get picked up as 'something anecdotal and weird'.

Interesting question. I think Mirjana said that in a way, The Announcement would be a miracle in and of itself. Somehow, someway, it will get to where it needs to go.

It was Conchita of Garabandal who said that. I don't think Mirjana ever commented on how effective the announcement would be at Medjugorje.

things spread pretty rapidly, but the mainstream media has no faith, they could even be considered enemies, so they will not be able to discern the significance of the anouncement, so most probably not.
