Default Moving this Site

I'm moving CatholicPlanet.net to a new hosting company.
The move will take place in a week or two.
The site will necessarily be down and unavailable for about 24 to 48 hours once the move begins.
Please be patient.
Moving a website based on a database is not as easy as moving other types of sites.

Once the site is moved, everything should be the same.

Have you had problems with this hosting company, Ron?

Yes, I've had some problems with my current hosting company. The new company has better service and tech support, and faster websites, etc.

I will probably be moving the site in early May.

Sounds good, I've noticed the site has been a bit slower recently.

I've never realized all the additional behind the scenes work it must take to keep a forum like this running.

Thanks.

Default faster, better web experience

Ron,
It sounds promising. Sometimes I thought I was just having some virus on my PC that had made it through my firewall and anti-virus and/or a concurrent VPN connection could be taxing the system throughput while CP site browsing. Thanks for all your help and efforts in making our Catholic Webbing a pleasant and appealing experience

I'm moving this website to a new hosting company, probably sometime this week, perhaps as soon as tomorrow (Tues, May 4).

The site will be down during the move for 24 to 48 hours (hopefully no longer).

I'm moving the site starting today, Tuesday, May 4th.
So expect the site to be down starting sometime today, and continuing for 24 to 48 hours.
