Default Beatific vision

Ron, when did the angels receive the beatific vision? It must have been after the fall of the angels otherwise they would not have sinned. Is this correct? Thanks.

Yes, that is correct.

When the angels were first created, they were all sinless, but did not have the beatific vision. They they were tested. It is thought that they were shown the plan of God in Christ, and His salvific act of dying on the Cross, and were told to worship Him. Those who worshipped subsequently received the beatific vision. Those who refused, did so out of pride, because human nature is less than angelic nature (since humans are part matter and part spirit, but angels are pure spirit). They fell from grace and became the fallen angels (devils). It is thought that Satan was the leader of this revolt against worshipping Christ.

So no one enters Heaven, except through Christ, not even the Angels.

No, the Patriarchs went to the limbo of the Fathers, to await Christ.
No one before Christ went directly to Heaven.
