Default Prayer Just Written

Dear God Almighty,

Thank You for all of Your Blessings, especially those which we have failed to appreciate.

Thank You for Your Divine Mercy, which grants us the reprieve from our human weakness, ingratitude, and oversight.

Grant us the grace to transform our consistency of sin into consistency of obedience to Your Word, Acceptance of Your Will, and service in others in Your Name.

Grant us the opportunity to be Your Hands for this vineyard, Your compassion and solace in this valley of tears, Your voice in this wilderness, and Your Presence in this desert.

Dear Lord, You know our needs and our longings. Grant us the wisdom to give You the reigns to our lives and accept Your course in loving obedience.

Dear Lord, You know our weakness and our doubts. Grant us the faith to know that we can be Your tools for the tasks You have given us.

My Jesus, I trust in Thee, with all of my heart and all of my strength.
My Jesus, I long to be with Thee, and to bring others to Thee as well.

Amen.

After re-reading this prayer, it seems fitting for use as Prayers of the Faithful at Mass....at least parts of it.
