Default How to Defend the Faith Without Raising Your Voice

Here is a book I would highly recommend for all, and especially for anyone seeking to articulate arguments in defense of the Catholic faith:

http://www.amazon.com/Defend-Faith-W...g +your+voice

"How to Defend the Faith without Raising your Voice" is a new book published by Our Sunday Visitor.

It was written by a group of Catholics in England who gathered together to become spokespeople for the Church in the public eye. Their experiences to date have led them to answer popular questions that they frequently encountered.

It contains well written and readable presentations of key Catholic topics, such as Church and state, role of women, homosexuality and contraception, clerical sex abuse.

I have found it to be very benefical as I read through it at the moment. You might know why the Church teaches what it does, but maybe not the best way of putting this across in a discussion or debate. This book helps a lot with that.

Great job, Shane. I think that opponents of the Church actually relish getting its defenders to lose their cool. Staying cool while presenting strong arguments must really get their ire up even more!
