Default Pope Francis on Medjugorje

When Pope Francis visits Sarajevo on Saturday (6/6/15), it seems likely to me that he will speak about the problems of claimed private revelation. He might use this occasion to issue a disapproval of Medjugorje and other claimed private revelations.

The disapproval of Medjugorje and Garabandal in 2015 will support the year 2016 as the time for the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle.

What if They approve it? How would that affect the Warning, Consolation and Miracle? I am only asking this as today's news is that Pope francis said that soon a decision will be made, it feels positive to me.

We'll have to wait and see. A negative decision fits with the 2016 timing for the Warning, Consolation, Miracle, which are the first three secrets.

Perhaps there is a hint in what Pope Francis said here:

http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/ne...-bosnia-36240/

" But, we’re at this point of making decisions … and then they will be announced… but only some guidelines will be given to bishops on the lines they will take."

It seems like he is saying it will be a type of limited approval or a limited disapproval. If Medjugorje were condemned there would be no guidelines.

Just my guess.

I think that the guidelines will extend the judgment of disapproval to all non-approved claims of private revelation. So the guidelines will guide the faithful away from all but formally approved apparitions.

Looks like what you're saying may ring true. Pope Francis made this comment earlier today regarding Medjugorje.

In his homily, Francis dismissed those "who always need novelty in their Christian identity" and say: "But where are the visionaries who tell us today about 'The letter that the Madonna will send tomorrow at 4 p.m.?'"
"This isn't Christian identity," he said. "God's last word is called Jesus and nothing more."

Thanks. I've been wrong more than I've been right, though, so far.

Hi Ron
The link you posted above doesn't work.
Also Radio Maria have said that it is a flawed report.
