Default back surgery

I'm scheduled to undergo back surgery for sciatica this Friday (Oct 21). I'll be under general anesthesia. They anticipate that I will be released from the hospital the same day. Recovery time is 2 to 6 weeks. It's a fairly minor operation, for back surgery. Very low risk of problems or complications. Don't worry about me. but please say some prayers for me, such as the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet, and offer the sacrifice of the Mass for me, if you are willing.

grace and peace to all of you

I am resting comfortably and on the road to recovery. They say it will take up to 6 weeks post surgery for "full" recovery. I'm at the beginning of week 2 right now.
