![]() Cremation is not intrinsically evil. But burial is a discipline more in agreement with the doctrine of the resurrection. Keeping the remains, whether ashes or bodies, in a cemetery, allows the faithful to visit the remains, recall the life of the departed, and meditate on the afterlife and the resurrection.
